Hi!
I'm trying to install a driver for my old printer.
I used this old guide before and it worked, but I now get mentioned error:
Guide; How to add HP Laserjet 1010 / 1012 / 1015 Printer to Windows 8
I found a different guide, which also results in the same error message:
HP LaserJet 1010 on Windows 10: Instructions to install drivers for HP LaserJet 1010 on Windows 10/8.1/7
Now what? Do I need tinker something in the registry? Where?
PS:
I had this error once before, when the mtp driver from Windows Update wouldn't install with this error. Nor were my manual attempts successful. But it resolved iself, because making the same attempts some weeks later succeded, so I never figured out what was wrong.
