Dear friend,Hello zoranilieski and welcome to the Eight Forums,
The post you quoted and replied to above is from 2013, and that member mark54 has not logged in since 2013..
As far as your previous questions asking about Outlook 365 Exchange to member BridgeHead who you quoted about it, or anyone else, I've personally never used Outlook 365 Exchange before so I cannot help you, and I'm not sure BridgeHead monitors this thread.
Try sending him a PM is the best I can suggest, however understand he was never able to ever get it working, and as far as I know from this thread no one else has ever tried that combination either. At this late point in time there are definitely no plans to do so, sorry.
We all already know all that already Kukattooo; and btw each time they remove way more than that!Today M$ made an auto-update to W11/22h2 and destroyed the Windows Mail folder in the Program Files, deletet/replaced some of the program files and renamed msoe.dll to msoe.dll.nouse ... nothing is working anymore: it was removed from tastbar, program itself was deleted, and starting a copy (back in program folder) states that one of the libraries was not found ...
Now how to keep WinMail Vista in W11 22h2? Bare reinstall (from #1) and it then works again? Or is there something else to do?
You could of determined that instantly after it updated, by just doing a "Restore" of the Backup/Restore Procedure 1, 2, 3 ...and in a few minutes you would of had your answer, yes it does. Thanks – I just wanted to clarify that it will still work on 22h2 as I was not sure.
Without question in that case I would of stayed with a jump only to Win10, and not Win11 for a thousand reasons, but ymmv.I jumped from Windows Vista directly to Windows 8.1 and then to Windows 11
Brink talks about that function for your version in our sister ElevenForum linked here:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
Anyone have any thoughts?
However, I regularly have issues when replying to or forwarding certain emails where the cursor starts blinking and alternating circle to vertical bar and eventually (maybe 30 seconds?) hangs the program requiring an end task to get out of it. Workaround I have found is to immediately save the post to drafts and edit it from there (where it doesn't seem to have the same problem).
Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution. I had hoped the update would have fixed the problem, but alas it is still there.
[....] Is this behaviour known?

You've mentioned this once before in one of your previous posts, but no one should ever assume or expect these same results since the installer routine for all major updates/upgrades is hard coded, there's no end user normal way around it that the legacy code throughout will not be removed. Always follow the procedure and always have a complete Backup/Restore procedure 1, 2, 3, always ready to go for when (not if) you will need it, for your continued uninterrupted WinMail survival, and pleasant experience.Today my Win 10 forced me to update to 22H2, but strangely my existing WinMail survived. No restoring / reinstalling was necessary.
