How to reinstall Windows 8.0 on Surface Pro 1st Generation

I've been trying to get Windows 8 reinstalled on this 1st Generation Surface Pro I purchased used, but every single time, it can't detect the storage devices. I've tried the official restoration media, Windows 8 ISO's i found online, even Windows 8.1, however I haven't been able to get it reinstalled. I know the SSD in it works since its able to boot into the Windows 10 install currently on the drive, however no installation media is able to detect it. How can I get it installed on here?

Please tell me if I posted this in the wrong place, I haven't had anything like this happen before relating to Windows 8.
