How to download Windows 8.1 Update 1 Official ISO file?

Oh man... If I just knew that, I would have paid attention in grabbing that folder before reboot...
Looking into what I can do here...

During upgrade, you close the window when it says downloading 100%. Do not let it reboot. Copy the folder to safe place. Then reboot to complete upgrade.

Unless you can upgrade again (unlikely), you will need to get one from your oem, or from the internet.

That means I will have new opportunity when Update 2 comes out...
Another method would be to go back to Windows 8 and then update again to 8.1 through the store.
But this last one would be too much work.

I found some torrents over a known site....
This looks like it is from the MSDN?
Would be glad if anyone can confirm this is the deal...

If you haven't got those, and you upgrade via the store:
when it shows 100% and it asks to restart, close the window and show hidden files and you should find C:\$Windows.~BT\sources\install.esd

Copy that somewhere safe before restarting.

and this

IR3_CSLA_x64FRER_pt-BR_DV9.iso

Is the correct file name. It has probably been made by someone from a downloaded .esd. Not possible to get a hash.

Yes, it was done by someone.According to the website where it has the download links:

"ISO created via ESD Untouched converted to WIM using esd-decrypter-v3 (4th option) from abbodi1406 [MDL Forums]".

I am going to download and test it on VirtualBox and use the OEM key and I will let you guys know.

So from what I read, it is still not enough to grab the files through the Store.
You would still have to convert it to wim, and possibly insert efi.cfg and boot.wim into the folder structure?

If you mage to grab the .esd at the right time. That is all you need.

You can make an iso from just that using my program you saw in the second link. It does everything needed.

Oh man, that hurts even more...
I am a bit reluctant to use ISOs made from somebody on the net.

If I could just trick Windows Store in downloading the SL again...

Something wrong with the sing lang iso you found?

I expect it fine.

I'm still downloading and then I will test it.
What I meant is that I prefer to do the ISO myself If I have the chance.
Specially when I know it was that easy to do when upgrading.

Anyway, will we have Update 2 enrolled into a new ISO release?
Can we expect that by mid-august if all rumors confirm?

Microsoft rolled update 1 into a new ISO so I would expect a new one with update 2. They'll likely put a stand alone version of update 2 on MSDN first, then the ISO. If so I'll download both.

Hey guys...

Can we expect a new ISO after this "August 12th Update" or is it best for us to move on with our lives with the current ISO form?

It's a monthly update rollup - been like that since May. Nothng special, thus moving on would be best, yes :)

Now I am wondering...

What is the best solution to obtain a "Update 1" ISO Single Language for OEM...

Would setup a virtual machine work?

My notebook updated and I have no previous Windows 8 OEM Single Language setup files...

What should I do now?

Any tutorial to download the old Windows 8 Single Language? I may have to install that to obtain from the store again...
