Solved How to Downgrade from Windows 8.1 Enterprise to Pro

Hello Guys

I am planning to upgrade from windows 7 to windows 8.1 (basically fresh install) to take a feel how things are on 8.1. To start with I am considering to evaluate 8.1 enterprise since that is the only evaluation edition available. So will it be possible to downgrade from evaluation copy of Windows 8.1 Enterprise to Windows 8.1 Pro Student without reinstalling the system again and altering any major settings?

Hi there

Not possible I'm afraid. You can't go from Enterprise (evaluation) to Pro without a new install.

Thank you for clearing my doubt.
Somewhere deep down I too had this feeling but without any info from senior members like yourself, I was hesitant to take any step in that direction.
