Hello, i have a problem on my laptop running Windows 8: i can't disable TouchPad Edge Swipes, so everytime i accidentally swipe on my TouchPad, Charms Bar pops up. I've disabled it using Start8 start menu, but the program cannot prevent it from popping up when using the TouchPad. I've also read Brink's tutorial (How to enable or disable touchpad edge swipes on Windows 8), but the problem is i don't have an 'Enable Edge Swipes' button on the driver's settings window (i think it's because i have a different laptop).
Do you have any suggestions ? My laptop model is Sony Vaio VPCSE1E1E. I have installed the latest TouchPad driver from VAIO Support's website.

Hi there, as i said in my first post, i've already tried Brinks's tutorial, but 'Edge Swipes' button is missing on my driver's settings window. Look at the picture attached to my first post.

Hello Brato, and welcome to Eight Forums.

You might see if using the latest 16.3.15.1 drivers from Synaptics may work for you on having a setting to disable edge swipes.

Hope this helps, :)

Thank you Brink ! My driver from Sony Vaio Support website was outdated, and they didn't put the newest version. I've installed the one from Synaptics website. Now i am able to disable the so annoying Edge Swipes. Thanks again ! This thread can be closed now.
