You would need to be specific about what you are asking. Can you post a screenshot of disk management and which partitions you want to combine?

Most 3rd party partition managers will do it, if the partitions are on the same HD and of the same type.

You can't merge non-contiguous partitions, so from what I see, this is what you need to do.

Delete E:
Move all the other partitions to the left so the free space is to the right of R:
Expand R: to encompass the free space.

This is a good program to do this with: Free merge partitions into bigger one with merge partition manager software in Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/2008/Windows 7/8.

This is another that is Linux based: GParted -- A free application for graphically managing disk device partitions

Before I would do this I would create image backups of anything I was not willing to lose.

@whs,

I think only PW PRO will merge, not the free version as far as I know.Although the extend function can take unallocated space from anywhere it seems.

@Daniel

Aomei is the best freebie for that. It will merge adjacent partitions. It will also merge with a non adjacent unallocated space. It will do the data moving automatically. If you have a lot of stuff on the intervening partitions ( H and P ) then it is a long job.

Hi

thanks to everyone who helped, the AOMEI PA worked well, and I will certainly be using it again in the future.

Thanks

Daniel

Made an account just to thank this post, merged two partitions which were non-adjacent and it saved me a load of time!
