I know. Or at least the official way round doesn't exist. But mark my words, one will exist soon enough. Many people use Windows 8, and among them there are many who are annoyed by this live account rape. Among those again, there will be few who will have the will and ability to make it work sooner or later. Evolution will fix stupidity eventually.
If someone knows how to bypass it already, I'd like to know.
You don't have to use a Microsoft account to sign in to Windows 8/8.1 if you don't want to.
It's just that if you don't, you will only not be able to use any apps that require you to be signed in to with a Microsoft account for them to work since they use Microsoft services that use your Microsoft account. Everything else will work just fine.
But I want to use my local account and Mail App, just as I used it before 8.1 update. That's what I paid for. I don't see any need to be punished for not using live account. Once again, thanks Brink, but I opened this thread in hope of finding someone to help me find the work around this annoyance. I'm not finding a way to accept this. I already decided I don't like it and I want it gone.
