Question :
the file(CustomRefresh.wim) system is known to recover .

Hello Asus,

A custom recovery image contains the desktop apps you've installed, and the Windows system files in their current state. Recovery images do not contain your documents, personal settings, user profiles, or apps from Windows Store, because that information is preserved at the time you refresh your PC.

The CustomeRefresh.wim file is the custom refresh image. You will be able to register any CustomeRefresh.wim file to set it as the current image to use when doing a refresh using the method in the tutorial below.

One must remember that a custom refresh image only restores the actual Windows 8 installation, and not the full system like a system image did with Vista and Windows 7.

http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/9310-refresh-windows-8-set-custom-recovery-image-active.html

Hope this helps, :)
Shawn

Bear in mind that a Custom Refresh loses a lot of settings and customisations in Windows 8.

As I understand it, this is "by design",so it can put right any settings that have messed things up. So although I haven't tried it in Windows 8.1, I'd be surprised if this has changed.

Vadikan did some very useful testing with the Windows 8 Custom Refresh and shared the results here:

Hi All
How to Backup Windows 8.1 ?
I can not find the option to repair disc and system image .

Hi there
Just download some FREE image program (Free macrium for example) and boot that and backup your OS to either an external drive or separate partition. (don't forget the system partition as well). As I have commercial ACRONIS that works fine for me. I never did like the windows built in image backups in any case.

Most of these imaging programs allow you to make a bootable USB stick version so you don't need to boot from a CD / DVD.

Cheers

Thanks for Macrium link. It seems to be a very good free program.
