I recommend that you wait for the Windows 8.1 Update 1 ISO image, which will be released at the beginning of next month.

But if you want to learn new things:

Windows Integration Guide - murphy78

"Basics of Offline integration."
"Make an ISO file using that modified integration image."

MSMG ToolKit for Windows 8.1/Windows Server 2012 R2 - v1.04

"Integrate Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2 GA Rollup Updates."
"Integrate Windows Security Updates and Hotfixes."
"Make a ISO Image."

Yes, prior to the February 26.

Windows 8.1 Update 1 Reaches RTM ? Report

"Windows leaker WZor claims that Windows 8.1 Update 1 RTM was signed off on February 26, which means that the public release could indeed take place in early April."

i have some driver that get update by windows 8.1 auto update, this will include by microsoft into windows 8.1 update 1 iso image or not?
I don't know about this issue.

That cannot be done because the ISO will be a standard issue for all to use; therefore, it can not accommodate every individual's unique drivers needs; however, they may expand their catalog to include driver updates for many but certainly not all. Again, the best thing for you to do is create a periodic System image so "everything" is included and kept up to date. Moreover, your recovery will be quicker, you won't have to reinstall any programs, you won't have to fine-tune your settings, and you will avoid all the other headaches that come with a clean install from an ISO.

Good luck with your decision on how to proceed from here.

Hi mashebro,

Do not use the internal Windows 8.1 method or you will run into real problems. Stick with Macrium Free.

Macrium Reflect FREE Edition - Information and download

and to restore it, do i need to make an a bootable disc from marcrium?
Yes, I prefer to use a bootable usb recovery drive created by Macrium. You should be prompted to do so when you first open Macrium. If not, you can invoke the process manually:

Just go to "other tasks" and select "create rescue media" and follow the prompts. Good luck.

I use Acronis True Image. Love that program. Been using it for years.

I do miss the days of EASY slipstreaming with XP. The image based installers since Vista make things a little more complicated.
