Solved How much RAM do you have installed?
No I have fixed the main problems and Windows runs fine on 12GByte RAM but when I try to boot up with 16GByte .........BAM!! blue screen. Something about a kernal fault

Well, that certainly is odd. Perhaps it's a particular stick of RAM? You could try isolating each of them and running Windows 8.

I have tried mixing the 3 sticks and it makes no difference, 8 runs fine. Windows 7 runs fine on all 4 I haven't tried putting the sticks in individually yet as I didn't see the point.
Maybe I should do it.
