No I have fixed the main problems and Windows runs fine on 12GByte RAM but when I try to boot up with 16GByte .........BAM!! blue screen. Something about a kernal fault
I have tried mixing the 3 sticks and it makes no difference, 8 runs fine. Windows 7 runs fine on all 4 I haven't tried putting the sticks in individually yet as I didn't see the point.Well, that certainly is odd. Perhaps it's a particular stick of RAM? You could try isolating each of them and running Windows 8.
lol not in this one, I am stumped. I am sure my RAM is fine or is that famous last words???One thing we have to remember ... perseverance is Pooch's middle name!
I am asking as my Windows 8 will not boot with more than 12 GByte RAM

Hi all
Works 100% fine with 16 GB RAM installed
Can't understand what the problem is from the O.P.
