I have a laptop and the motherboard is Dell 0rp6c8
How many internal hard drive can support ?

I used Speccy and it show that it has :
Slot PCI-E x16 "In use" and (5) Slots PCI there are (2) Available
does it mean I still can connect (2) hard drives ?

I would know the way to know that please !

In a laptop you have only 1 disk bay (unless it is one of the rare 17" models with 2 bays). So no, another internal disk is not an option. There is no place to put it.

I use one drive to quad boot - xp - vista - win 7 - win 8.1
and the other has all my DATA

To answer your original question -- presuming you're asking about SATA drives, as many drives as there are SATA ports on the motherboard.

But that also presumes you have a place to put the drive INSIDE the machine.

I had an old Fujitsu laptop that had a "bay" which took a variety of devices -- optical drive or hard drive. So, in my case, the answer was two.

In your case, if your laptop does not have one of those removable bays, the answer is 1 -- the hard drive you already have.

Having a similar desire to gain storage space in my laptop, I replaced my DVD drive with SATA drive adapter tray.
Since I only use the DVD drive occasionally, I acquired an external USB DVD drive.

That's what I want to do on my wife's new HP Pavilion 17-e040us Laptop. This is for mounting a SSD. Unfortunately I have not yet found any caddy that seems to fit.

The little latch on my DVD drive was removable and I just moved it to the adapter tray. Had same screw pattern.
My SSD is 7mm as well.

The one drawback is that the DVD drive was contoured to the laptop and the adapter tray is squared off. I didn't mind.

I know you can change the bezel on the cd/dvd drive they just snap off or have two tabs holding then on

is the adapter bezel removable or swappable - looks like this is..
