How do you back up programs?

I know how to back up data files, but is there any way to back up all your SOFTWARE on a USB or other device of your own?

If you want to back up all software, then much easier would be to add the user data as well, at least the data on the system drive. As a result, this will be a full system backup, quite useful to restore PC after the most of unexpected disasters. As for backup software, it's a matter of personal preference. I use Macrium Reflect to make an image on an external USB HDD once a 1-2 months (more exactly, I use two alternate HDDs to reduce a chance of image loss). To create a system image, free version is enough; paid version also allows to back up the user data only.
