After the latest update to iTunes it now launches when Windows starts, despite the fact that I have disabled iTunesHelper in the StartUp list in Task manager.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I would start with the simpler Piriform CCleaner. It has a tab where one can manage startup programs.

The more powerful Sysinternals Autoruns should get the job done if one treads cautiously.

Second the recommendation to try Autoruns from Sysinternals (or well, it's part of Microsoft these days, so it doesn't get any more officially approved by Microsoft than that :) )https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902 Just be careful with that thing, you don't want to disable anything that you actually need, like important system services. Just look for anything Apple in that list, and start your search there.

click start, enter "msconfig" press Enter. in the pop-up window, under Boot option, you can stop

mysery has just said what I was going to say .......

there must also be something in settings in your itunes softeare that unticks start with windows

Never install it. I consider iTunes "bloatware' and is the main reason why I steer clear of any Apple products.
