How do I Rearrange photos

I have downloaded, and, I think, disabled autoarrange. I am now able to rearrange the photos in a standard desktop file. However, it does not carry over to my photo gallery. There is probably a step I have failed to complete, but I can't find it. Help, please.

I am not sure if this is exactly what you are asking but it seems you are wanting to add the desktop file to your picture library:

• Browse to the folder you want to add, and then right-click it.
  
• click [FONT=WOL_Bold]Include in library[/FONT], and then select the library to which you want to add the folder for example click Pictures.
