Solved How do I get Google Chrome on my Start Screen.

Hello Robin, :)

Do you mean how to "Pin to Start" Chrome or open Chrome at startup instead?

Thanks guys. I did manage to do as you said & installed the Chrome app on the Start Screen. However, when I click on it, it opens up on the Desktop. I wanted to know if I could get it to open up on the Start Screen. I don't know if I've worded that correctly. E.g. I can open up Internet Explorer & Google.co.uk on the Start Screen but not the Chrome.

The Start screen is basically just a full screen Start menu with app tiles. Nothing can actually open on the Start screen. Only open from the Start screen to your desktop.

Do you mean open full screen?

This is getting a bit confusing. Not every app on the Start Screen opens on my Desktop, very few in fact. What I meant was when I click on e.g. Internet Explorer on the Start Screen it opens up full screen. It's true I also have Internet Explorer on my Desktop as well, which I open from the Taskbar. I guess Brink I should have said 'full screen' rather than on the Start Screen. I realise on Windows 10 all the apps on the Start Screen open on the Desktop, but not on W8. I've just worded it all wrong!!

Edit: I guess I mean the modern Metro UI screen versus the Desktop screen.

No problem Robin. I just wanted to be sure of what you meant so we can properly help. :)

I haven't seen a modern Chrome app available in the Store yet. Only the usual desktop version. If you like, you can press F11 in Chrome to toggle full screen though.
