I set mine up fresh from a DVD ISO on a Toshiba Satellite laptop (L755-S5258). Runs a LOT faster than 7, and makes more full use of multiple cores / better thread scheduling.
Only problem so far is, no OpenGL support whatsoever (hey, it's a Beta release), and complete system lockups with some Windows XP and 7 applications (which is to be expected).
GUI-wise, overall, it's Windows 7, but without the Start button, plus this Metro business. Takes some getting used to on a laptop.
In spite of that, I want it just because it's that much speedier than 7.
