How can i merge two disks into one big drive please help..

Hi guys

well my problem is I have windows10 running at this moment but there is something that's bothering me a lot mate its my disk is shown as two drives when I have only one the other one is empty and is of 23gb which I want to merge with the drive 0 I have already tried disk management and third party tool aomei partition assistant .it wont work the move and merge area is grey secondly this 23gb wont even shows up when I try to merge it with drive that has windows in it.please help thank you .


how can I make it one drive if necessary I have usb with windows 10 iam willing to reinstall windows.

and if I make it unallocated space still wont merge with c drive ( windows) same like3rd pic.

no bro I want that 23gb to merge with my main drive that has windows.so I can have one drive only I don't think I need this I tried but still couldn't get rid of that 23gb.i cant seem to merge that 23gb in main drive by any means tried everything possible.it just wont show up when I try merge .

It's unallocated you need to format it to NTFS by creating a new simple volume. Then you should be able to merge.
 
I'm out of ideas at the moment. Maybe one of the others can help, sorry:(. Except I just noticed one is GPT and the other is MBR, shouldn't they both be the same partitioning?

Yeah your rit mate I was trying it to convert that drive to all available modes thinking one might click but it didn't happen.

Hello there,


According to the screenshots those 23 GB are residing on a different physical HDD. If that’s the case you cannot merge physical HDDs like you would do with separate partitions on the same physical HDD. If you want to merge two physical HDDs you have to use some kind of RAID.
Have a look at your laptop specifications, it's possible that those 23 GBs are actually are 24 GB SSD.
