Hi Guys..

I have a tablet Model: Haier Y11b

Now I have a Hiren bootable USB I want to boot the tablet from this USB but i am not able to do so though the USB stick is detected but it wont boot instead display a black screen without going further.

Is the Hiren live USB compatible with UEFI boot mode machines??

Yes KYHI its the same tablet with the keyboard portion and screen as well.
Ok i will test it Thanks for the clue

well then installing programs to D (external HDD) would not be suggested then...
If you have a SDCard slot - install a card and use that as your secondary drive > install to SDCard rather then ExHDD

KYHI sorry i did not understand you talking abut installation of softwares ?? whether i want to know how to enable Tablet to boot from Hiren bootable usb

You might have to set your machine to Legacy Boot mode to be able to boot from that, it's a setting in the BIOS. If you have UEFI, you won't be able to boot from any external media that's not in the default paths allowed by the system.

You may have to burn it onto a real CD, if your Optical drives are included in the default boot paths. Otherwise, it's Legacy Boot city. Look in the tutorials section to find out how,

On another note, I brought up a tool on Hiren's BCD for a possible solution to a registry problem and my post was deleted. But this post is sitting here. That kind of baffles me.
