i installed intel VGA i think but there was intel on it probably intel VGA

after installing i saw blinking screen and goes over to the startup menu and i can't do safe mode to after blinking it redirects to startup screen

the blinking was fast like count 1-2 secs it will blink and again after that it would be pitch black and go over again

any solution??

help me coz i dont want to destroy my pc anymore!!

Hm... try doing a reinstall and run Windows Update before you install drivers. A lot of native drivers are out through WinUpdate at the moment.
And which operating system are you running? 32 bit or 64 bit?

I would venture a guess that it's x64 since this is a Win8 Forum. ;)

It would be best to download the drivers for the video card and see if the issue persists.
I had to do that on my system as, until I did so, I only had the native screen resolution options.

mines x64 bit,
a reinstall huh ok ill try

its windows 8 x64 dev prev im gonna install right coz i may be freakin out for the data ive lost

oh by the way its in my laptop

wish there was a solution

Well you don't have to reinstall Windows, but if you can transfer your data first that'd be a good idea. Take a look at this and this.

actually i can't boot to safe mode coz once i boot to safe mode it directs to startup menu and the only solution is hard boot

hard boot could minimize pc performance

Hm, have you checked your hardware? Could be a faulty or overheated processor or motherboard. Doesn't really sound to me like it's a software issue. Check all the hardware connections are okay. This is provided you are on a desktop.
If you're on a laptop, well, there's not much I can suggest. :(

AVALON THX FOR THE HELP THE STARTUP BOOT MENU (F8) FINALLY STOPS BLINKING ONCE I INSERTED MY USB thx
Hahaha. Glad I could help. Next thing you should do is try the refresh and see if that helps at all. Last thing you want to do is lose your data. ;)
Protip: You can edit your posts.

one more thing does reset pc in win 8 wipes out all DRIVES including D:\?

Here's the list for a Windows Refresh:
Which settings will be affected?

Your PC settings will be restored to their defaults.

Choices you made during Windows Welcome, such as computer name and user accounts, will not change.

Your files and personalization settings will not change.

Network, Libraries, and Windows Update settings will not change.

Customer Experience Improvement Program settings will not change.

Windows Error Reporting settings will not change.

Apps from Windows Store will be kept, but all other apps will be removed.

Here's the list for a Windows Reset:
Which files will be affected?

When you reset your PC, the drive will be completely reset, and all your apps and files will be removed from it. Windows 8 will be reinstalled, and you'll need to change any settings and reinstall any apps that you want to get back after resetting. If you know if any files that you don't want to lose, then you should back those files up before starting the reset.

What if I have multiple drives?

You can choose whether to reset all hard drives or just the one with Windows 8 installed on it. Any drive that Windows 8 doesn't recognize, such as those with non-Windows operating systems, will not be affected.
I hope that helps. :)
