Help HD7970 video driver

Hello all

Been trying for the last 2 hours to get my video card to work properly, already install AMD Catalyst™ Drivers Windows® 8 Consumer Preview, but under device manager show me that I have a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter;
so I uninstall ATI from control panel and I decide to install
12-2_pre-certified_vista_win7_64_dd_ccc, still the same problem

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get windows 8 to properly recognize my video card?

They haven't even got the drivers right with Windows 7....and I've seen some complaints about Catalyst not working on the new build anyway....Have you tried to instal just the drivers?

Ok I manage to install the 7900 windows driver

go to device manager, expand display adapters right click on the listed "......" adapter and Update Driver Software
then click Browse my computer for driver software---> Let me pick up from a list of device driver on my computer
"UNCHECK" Show compactible hardware
point to Advanced Micro Devices then scroll down to "AMD Radeon 7000 series (Engineering Sample-WDDM v1.20)
* theres no 7900 driver *
install and that will open the drivers for all the RADEON 7000 and 7000m series
still cant get CCC to work, will update this

Still problem... "The Windows encountered an error while attempting to install it"

"The driver selected does not support this version of Windows"

Damn...

And I've serious problems browsing with IE10... It's like I'm losing the signal ( monitor turns on/off ).

BTW got HDMI audio working properly.
got 2 monitors, 1 TV 35" as main monitor with HDMI and a vertical 24" monitor for reading purposes.. still cant get CCC to work
