Hi,

1) After I refreshed my pc after getting a virus, I cannot use the :winkey:+PrintScreen command anymore. When I press those two buttons, the screen doesn't dim for 2 seconds and goes back to normal, it stays normal and a png file doesn't appear in the Pictures\Screenshots

2) For future reference, which category would this thread be under. I was a little confused

Thanks a lot for your help

Hi Brink,

After refreshing my pc, it got rid of the virus. I ran a full scan afterwards with Norton.

Before I refreshed, Windows+Print Screen worked but now Windows+Any Key+Print Screen doesn't work.

Is there an option to enable/disable it?

Thanks

Not true. My screen doesn't dim either, but the screenshot is still taken. You might go ahead and search your computer for the file just to see if one shows up.

Try Alt-Prntscr for the immediate window or Ctrl-Printscr for a fill screen, I've never heard of using the Windows key for this, but it does work - But don't use it, use Alt or Ctrl, it works better.

Brink - My Screen Dimmed using Win-Prntscr. I can give two poopoos it it dims or not, just that a screenshot it done.

I've only ever used the ALT or CTRL keys, today was the first time I ever used the Win Key.

Oh, I get it now - The Win key also saves it to "Screenshots" - I usually don't save them. OK well now I know if I need to save it it'll go there.
