I have it on 3 different PC's--1-Dell, 1 Gateway, and 1 Hp.I have had absolutely no trouble with any of them. I will install the new 8.1 when it is available and if it is the same as the preview I do not anticipate any problems.

I had issues with just about every version of 8 on my older desktop PC's. Drivers would be my guess. I'm happy to say, that so far, the 8.1 RTM (clean install) is running just fine on my main desktop. I had issues with the 8.1 preview on my laptop after doing the upgrade though the store. A RTM clean install is running fine on that too. YMMV
If you haven't installed the pre-view version, it might be a good idea to wait until the other comes out. It's only a little over a couple of weeks. If you install the pre-view version now, you won't be able to install the final release over it. And you won't be able to uninstall it. You would have to put your system in a state where it was before you installed the pre-view of 8.1. I could be wrong on this so it would be best to wait to hear from one of the other members who is more knowledgeable than I am.
I'm running the "official" version at the moment. I like it so far, a definite improvement. Although, there's no way I would pay for this much needed update. A ton of customization options have been added.
