Guest Account File Saving and File Details

I would like a friend to be able to use my guest account to create occasional word documents etc. Could he save files to the computer and, if so, what would the produced and saved by details boxes in the properties information say? I cannot check this myself now, as I have had problems arising from an alternative user account I created, which has resulted in the computer having to be repaired.
