but who cares if Google will lose a lot of Win8.x users? I don't since I very seldomly or almost never use chrome on win8.1

They are also dropping Win 7. Which will probably make Edge the number 1 browser.

I kinda do. Well probs gonna switch to Firefox.

It won't, Edge will be dropping their support for Windows 7 (probs 8 too) on 15th Jan next year Microsoft Edge Supported Operating Systems

Didn't know ChrEdge was also dropping support.
Makes no difference since there are many other options out there.
I'll just stick with my Pale Moon and use Waterfox classic for the few sites Pale Moon wont open.
