This forum changed software from vbulletin to xenforo so the design is different.

The only good versions of vbulletin have been end of life for many years now and do not support modern web standards, the newer versions of vbulletin are made by monkeys that haven't got a clue what they are doing, whereas Xenforo is modern, maintained and made by the developers that made the old good versions of vbulletin.
