Hi

This evening, shortly after booting up my laptop I got a BSOD with the error message along the lines of 'Kernel Security Check Failure'.

I have attached the dump file and used Blue Screen View. The latter suggested it was to do with a driver 'NETIO.SYS'. A google search suggested it was to do with NVIDIA. I'd be grateful if anyone could confirm this from the dump file and suggest a possible fix.

Many thanks
Dom

HI DomAW

Is it P55w or k?
Broadwell or Skylakes?
did u install any driver directly from Nvidia website ?

From experience , if download driver from Nvidia instead of Gigabyte support page , sometimes funny things might happen. So maybe uninstall the Nvidia driver could solve the problem.

Hope this helps.

More NETIO.sys than Nvidia, but NETIO.sys indicates the network drivers or security software.
I would suggest to update/reinstall your network drivers.
