Solved Games report 59.94Hz frequency response

#1
It seems like most games namely Battlefield are forced to run at 59.94Hz despite the video driver being set to 60Hz. This issue wasn't present with the same hardware except motherboard & CPU, software I also updated from 7 to 8. Should I be worried? This wasn't an issue with previous AMD hardware, which doesn't make sense considering the GPU is the same.

60 HZ is only the nominal, not the exact refresh rate. What is being reported is closer to reality than 60 HZ. Nothing to be concerned about.

The difference is only about .1%.

Agree with LMiller, I wouldn't worry about it. That alone isn't going to affect your gaming experience. And it may be a bug in the driver or an update that's making it read like that.

Bottom line is there's no issue there.

I was pretty sure it wouldn't go as far as being a perceivable difference. Thanks for the reassurance.
