Hi guys , I have freezing problem in Windows 8 Consumer Preview in ASUS K50ID … I tried many times ago to fix it, I first installed Nvidia driver , ATK , Realtek , Chrome , Yahoo! Messenger and Flash Player, and then I just installed ASUS Drivers ( excluding ATK Package ) and Chrome , Proxy fire … I watched a movie with it , then left laptop in start menu for 2 hours , when I came back it was freezing , and the only thing I could do, held the power button until it shut down … I need some help to fix it … my Windows errors indicated in event viewer are in the file below :

thanks in advance.

You're missing the coprocessor power management driver and ATK driver:

Code:
Coprocessor PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0AA3&SUBSYS_1FA71043&REV_B1\3&267A616A&1&1D The drivers for this device are not installed.

Not Available ACPI\ATK0100\1010100 The drivers for this device are not installed.

So install x86 NVIDIA chipset drivers from ASUS' site. I would use the device manager. The Coprocessor driver will be in the extracted SMBus folder:

http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Versatile_Performance/K50ID/#download

And then install in device manager this from the same link:
ATKACPI driver and hotkey-related utilities

-------

As part of the chipset drivers, make sure to install the NVIDIA storage driver too.
