Thanks to the author. I found this forum from you web.
I’m trying to use your app on my Windows 8 laptop. I’ve tried created two different square tiles . They both keep time, and they both move impressively in the “Build Square Tile” mode. But there’s no “live” motion on the Start screen. Isn’t there supposed to be motion? How do I make that motion happen?

Live motion only work in snap view mode. It's system limitation. Thanks!

hello. great clock app! i love that you have so many style options. however, when i went to try to download a digital clock style, i cant get it to work. it says "select one style to install', but when i click the style pic, nothing happens. it doesnt install, nor go to a download page, nor can i find a download button on the style page anywhere. (other than in the ads lol ) im not that stupid generally, but either im totaly missing something today, or it just isnt working.

and on another subject - is it possible to ask for a specific style to be made? if so, i could make a picture of what i want and post it here. its just something simple, to blend with my background and in as big and clear a font for the digital style as i can get since my eyes suck lol.

1) First you should install the app from Windows Store. And open the style lib page from app, it will open metro IE 10.
Then click the style picture, and IE 10 will popup a dialog like this.
Just press yes, it will return to app, and show "downloading style [xxx]..." on the left top corner. Usually it will finish in several seconds.

2) This app only support predefined background from web lib. (disable Analog Tab-> "Use Analog Face", and enable Digital Tab -> background, select picture).
If you want to use your own picture as background, try this pro version.
Or you can post the picture here. and i will put it to the predefined BG web lib.

1 - i of course did install your app from the windows store first, and did click the style picture. but now i know the problem. i dont use IE browser, i use chrome browser. your clock web lib does not work with chrome, so thats something you should fix. but its an easy enough work around, now that i know the problem. when chrome opens with the page for the style pic, i just copy/paste that page address over into IE, and it works!

2 - you missunderstood me here, i didnt want a background picture for the tile, only a different font and font color for the digital clock style. i am not using the analog clock style, nor the date feature. i just need an easy to see font, on a plain background color that matches my start screen. the pink style from your web lib, FlatvgrWP, works nicely on my dark purple start screen tho. and if i get tired of looking at the pink, ill surely give your Custom Time Tile a try, since i can change the font and color and size in it!

I think you can just save the URL to your ie10's "Favorites" clip. Chrome does not support protocol open app. If you don't like IE, you can try Firefox, it's even better than IE -- it popup dialog only once(can remember choice).

2 - you missunderstood me here, ...

Yes, Custom Time Tile also support all-customizable art font, just try.
OR just tell me what art font you like( font name/color/size/light effect... any art text parameter in Custom Time Tile) or just give me a screenshot of "Art Font Builder" dialog. I will add it to the free lib.

Windows Metro themed clock

I was looking for a theme which would blend well with the existing Windows 8.1 tiles. It features two additional time zones as well as a calendar. This theme requires Pro as well as Windows 8.1 as it uses the large tile setting. I hope you enjoy it!

Hi there
While the work of developers should be encouraged I'm not sure if this is a strictly good way of "advertising" or "flogging" products which IMO should be done on your OWN wed site or a legitimate developers web site. rather than on this forum.

I'm not suggesting that you are in any way bad but this type of promotion I'm sure sails pretty close to the wind - especially if private codes etc are being requested.

There's enough "Invasion, Spy, Ad and malware out there as it is.

My app only request the Internet Client permission to download styles. So it cannot access any user's private information. And even if I want to get the user's info, I can just send it from internet. The user code is only a hash of user's download GUID of my app (several numbers), that only can be used to distinguish between different users.
