Hi, my machine is a Asus X550c supplied with W 8 and upgraded to 8.1. After a period of frustration with MS account login I successfully reverted to a local password. Foolishly I did not create a password reset disc though I do have a Windows recovery drive. How can I regain access to my laptop without doing a factory reset? I am new to this forum so I hope I have given all the info you need within rambling too much
