Solved Flickering screen during gaming and watching movie

I've problem of flickering screen during gaming and when watching movie, somtimes work on windows, for example when opening maps etc. I don't know what the cause is. Please help me, I will play games without flickering screens. Thanks!

Notice you have a AMD video card -- and AMD just came out with new Catalyst 14.2 drivers. You should try those to see if that helps any.

Right, I've done that, I installed the newest drivers of AMD. Before and after installing the newest driver I got this problem.

I had the same problem and the monitor was the cause. Bad capacitors. Be sure to check that.

I'm playing Metro redux with an other monitor, I lend it from my brother and I see that you are right about that, the cause is the Philips tv that I wrote here above. It's almost 2 and half years that I bought this tv. All that time it worked fine till now, but since a couple of days these flickering screen happens. I've no warranty more for my tv. The problem occurs since I reset the tv. What should I do? Thanks

Get it repaired in a shop. I told you what it was (at leat in my case) bad capacitors. So, repair shop time.

Hi softwaremaniac. I tried this time this option. I downloaded a (new) software upgrade for my television, after installing everything works fine now. I do not have issues (screen flickering) during gaming, during using windows and watching movies. This is so great. I'm happy to see it's working fine again. So that's what the cause for having flickering screens. Thanks again!

Hi me again,

I got the same problem again, this time during gaming in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. A time after I upgraded the driver of my Philips tv I thought it was over, but now I'm getting the flickering screen again. It freezes sometime in game. I will test it again on an other monitor. I tested on an other monitor and I got the same, flickering screen is happening too. Maybe good to know, on station c: (Vertex 4 ssd) I installed windows on it and all programs and games, the other harddisk (station d: Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 80GB) I use for back up, this one makes a lot of noise, especially when the pc is busy, espacially during gaming for example. (I don't know of that is a problem) What can I else do to find what the problem is, I self think it's a hardware problem, maybe the graphic card. Please help. Thanks!

OCZ ModXStream Pro 600 WATT 80 PLUS Certified Modular, I bought it 18-05-2012, so it's 2 and half years old. I tested my PSU with PSU tester, there were no problems, everthing worked fine.
