Have a laptop running windows 8. Using the Thunderbird (TB) email program. Coped TB emails from a desktop computer on to a flash drive.Trying to copy TB files from the flash drive on to the laptop. TB program on the laptop doesn't recognize the files from the flash drive, so the more recent emails do not appear in the inbox of the TB email program. Any suggestions how to get the laptop TB program to recognize the emails most welcome. Have also queried the TB help forum.
