Fast upload, super slow download?

So then, I upgraded my internet plan to a 50M plan (at long last ><). I have a Dell xps 15z (Centrino N-6230 and Atheros AR8151 Gigabit switch). When i'm close to the router I get 50M download, 28M upload but when I'm further away my speeds drastically decrease to 11M whilst my upload remains at 28M, weird.

But that isn't the big problem. On LAN, my internet speeds are horribly wrong. I get a 28M upload which is good, but my download dips to 8M, max getting up to 12M. But if I use the same LAN cable on another computer, it gets a steady 50M down, 28M upload. It's been bothering me. :sarc:

What could the cause be? >< I'm desperately trying to fix this! Could anyone help? Help would be amazingly appreciated! :D

1. Hmm... being close to the router gives you 50Mbps. (I'm guessing Wi-Fi?)
2. Connecting to LAN speeds are wrong (I'm guessing your connected to the router using the ethernet port?)
3. Other computer (Is that computer using the same router?)

I kind of want to say that your router is the problem. But also it could be that your computer is somehow lowering your internet speed. Any difference now?

On the slow download PC, go to your Mother Board Manufacturer and find out if they have any update for your Network Controller Driver.
