[TD="align: left"] The message “Fail to load module C:\Users\Ron Wolpa\AppData\Local\Icdrsoft\hpboidps.DLL” pops up just after Win 8 starts up.
It started to happen after AVG anti virus cleaned a possible threaten.
I was about to remove from registry then , before doing stupid things , I made up my mind to post a message here ; it is located @ HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > MICROSOFT > WINDOWS > CURRENT VERSION > RUN under the name ICDRSOFT and data : regsvr32.exe "C:\Users\Ron Wolpa\AppData\Local\Icdrsoft\hpboidps.DLL".

If deleting from registry is not the solution what else can be done ?
Thank you for your support.

It is possible that the threat was a false positive and warrants more investigation.
Select a system restore point prior to when the problem started.

It´s very likely to be a false positive, I´ve been searching for info and found that hpboidps.DLL has not been rated yet , so that I decided to restore the file from avg virus vault and add hpboidps.DLL to the exception list.
Thanks for replying

the file hpboidps.DLL belongs to ICDRSOFT web hosting software ,did you install this software on your computer ,
If it were mine and I didn't install the hosting software then this is when I use a registry editing program to remove the registry entry ,and the error message on start up will go away

Before posting here I had searched the google to learn the origin of hpboidps.DLL to find : ProcessLibrary.com - Search Results For hpboidps/330689/;
As per process library site "
hpboidps.dll is a DLL file used by HP Status Server Proxy Stub created by Hewlett-Packard Company".
I personally haven´t installed any icdrsoft but I installed Hewlet Packard application for my multifunction printer , altough the file location seems to be misplaced in my opnion (what the hell a hp file is doing into icdrsoft folder ?)

I guess if you didn't install icdrsoft then something did ,it got there somehow , maybe they borrows hp's dll file .:mad:

I believe some HP printers have an audio setting you may wish to check in their configuration settings.
