Hi, the following update reports installation error:

kb2880987
error code 537
July 8, 2014 update for Office 2013 (KB2880987)

I tried downloading the file from the link above and no success, install reports error. I disabled firewall, antivirus and no luck, I also tried booting in safe mode, no luck either. Any hint? Thanks

Thanks, I went to your suggested link but none of that applies. I also tried the Windows Update Diagnostics and issue not fixed.

Yes, all other updates installed successfully, this one is the only one that reports an error and can't be installed

Uninstall your NIS2014 using their removal tool, reboot and try the update again.

My notebook and a friend's PC have the same config:Win8.1x64+Office2013+NIS2014, both installed this update successfully. In addition, as mentioned, I tried safe mode and no go, so I don't think NIS2014 is the problem. Before removing NIS2014 I will try some other stuff. Will update if/when I fix this. Thanks.

UPDATE: I slipstreamed the conflicting Kb file into my Office 2013 installation disc, uninstalled/reinstalled Office with the new slipstreamed ISO and now Windows Update does not show the conflicting Kb file, so already installed, issue fixed.
