first of all sorry for my bad English..

I have downloaded windows8 developerPreview-32bit-English (2.8 GB) successfully..
made a bootable USB and tried to install (fresh install).
when it comes to expanding files at 57% it gave error code:0x80070570 and tried again.
same error..
tried to install on VMWare, Virtual Box directly with ISO..
same error.
on the other system with different configuration..
and again same error..

so, i searched on google. only the solution there may be problem with ISO is to re-download ISO..
but my net speed is very very low (download sppeds upto 12 kbps).
i downloaded it 2.8 with great difficulties.. (took 5 days to download.)

i can't download it again..

is there any alternate solution like rebuilding the ISO with working files.
is it possible to know which files of ISO are corrupted and replace them with working files..

pls help...

laxman, you can verify the iso. First of all, here are the hashes of the various WDP distributions:

Windows 8 Developer Preview English, 64-bit (x64)
Sha 1 hash – 79DBF235FD49F5C1C8F8C04E24BDE6E1D04DA1E9

Windows 8 Developer Preview English, 32-bit (x86)
Sha 1 hash – 4E0698BBABE01ED27582C9FC16AD21C4422913CC

Windows 8 Developer Preview with developer tools English, 64-bit (x64)
Sha 1 hash – 6FE9352FB59F6D0789AF35D1001BD4E4E81E42AF

This means that the sha 1 hash of the iso you downloaded must match the official sha 1 hash. So download hashtab:

HashTab tool to quickly find file hash information

Run the installer. After installing, righr click your iso, click properties, then click File hashes tab. It'll calculate and display the hashes, compare the sha 1 hash to the official one. If they match, the iso is good.

If the iso is good, then you need to check how you're preparing the usb drive. If the iso isn't good, you'll need to redownload.

Same here

I'm having the same problem. I've been re-downloading the .iso-file like ten times now. I have tried the 64 bit and the 32 bit version. I reach the part where the computer is restarting, then the error code arrives. Any idea what i could be?

Thanks!
