I've setup a EF facebook page, we will be using it to post site updates and news of new tutorials etc.

Someone please correct me if I have been misinformed but my understanding is that when I create a facebook page for myself, I "agree" to allow "facebook" to use any and all info that can be harvested about me from my profile and communications in any way they may choose to use for perpetuity. They can spam me themselves or just sell the info to anyone who wants to create an advertising profile on me to spam me with "targeted" advertisements?

I think I will avoid these "social networking" sites ...

Same here, might if one comes available that isn't so intrusive, don't see that happening.

I am hate Facebook.

Social media in general has never really captured my attention.

You should set up a Google+ site as well.

Dunno, I've only ever posted about 3 messages on my own pages and they all have a box at the top to do it.

I'm sure somebody will be along soon to tell you.

Hello Pooch,

After I clicked on "Like" on the Eight Forums FB page, it showed up as Eight Forums under the Pages section on my FB homepage.

Hmm then this must be a FB thing I am still running on the old interface and do not have this, give me a mo maybe I have to switch something on

I can't find anything I have written on the forum page wall and shared the page but no link comes up. Looks Like I am just going to have to wait and see if it turns up over the next few days.
