Driver Power State Failure" error BSOD using Windows 8.1

I'm using a ASUS S56CA ultrabook which runs VERY SLOWLY (takes 5+ minutes to boot up)!
OS is Windows 8.1 with ALL the latest Windows Updates installed.

I get the BSOD error "Driver_Power_State_Failure" usually when trying to enter sleep mode or using the Instant ON feature from ASUS .. neither of them work properly so after researching online I've decided to REMOVE the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST) RAID Driver .. reboot and it's still VERY slow to boot. I've also tried to d/l new drivers from the ASUS website (only BIOS and few others) which were also installed but still get same results. The Intel HD 4000 Graphics is also out of date but I cannot d/l the update from the intel website .. shows file not available?

It also does NOT shut down completely .. select Shut Down from the menu and screen goes BLACK but power never goes off .. so I must manually hold the power button 5 seconds to shut down.

Finally, I've turned OFF ALL power saving features in Power Options .. no sleep .. no turn HDD off, etc.

I need to know how to fix this system so it does NOT take 5 minutes to boot up please.

I'm also attaching the last 4 minidump files for review .. plus I'll use the SF utility tonight to get the other suggested files on this forum.

Attached SF zip file as requested in your post notes. Hope someone can fix this soon .. system takes 5 minutes to boot up and still get BSOD even after updating Intel RST drivers and disabling power options.

Thanks,
Shane

At one point Asus advised not removing the Intel RST drivers as they wouldn't work properly if updated afterwards.
Here' a quote from the download page:
Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver
Please do not uninstall the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver. User only could install the new IRST driver directly to update.
What this means is that you may have to reinstall Windows in order to get this to work properly. I'm not suggesting that you do it now - but that you be prepared to do it (in the future) if it appears that the other fixes that we try aren't working.

Also, there is disagreement (in the BSOD community) about removing the Intel RST drivers. I'm on the side of not removing something that isn't proven to be a problem. This is especially important (IMO) given the warning about uninstalling the drivers.

I'd suggest trying a REFRESH first, as it may fix the problem without having to lose everything: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/2293-refresh-windows-8-a.html

Only 46 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 60 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Don't worry about the specific number, it's just important that you have checked and installed any updates that were available.

Please:
- uninstall the current Bluetooth drivers from your system.
- download and install the latest, Win8.1 drivers for your Bluetooth (DO NOT USE Win8 drivers - they sometimes have problems in 8.1)
- check in Device Manager to make sure that the errors are fixed (if not, post back for further suggestions).

The memory dumps all blame the Intel Storage drivers. Please run Driver Verifier (it's an attempt to verify that iaStorA.sys is actually to blame) according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
