Diablo III running choppy

Good evening.

This may not be a gaming issue, but I'll say it anyway

I had an issue that was solved in an earlier post. I had an issue with my sound devices (my headphones and speakers fighting for control) that was affecting my video playback (choppy play on Netflix, YouTube, and MP3 audio, plus the speakers would not play unless headphones were plugged in. But I got that issue solved. But now my video plays with no problem on Firefox, but it plays choppy on Chrome. My World of Warcraft plays perfectly, but now my Diablo III runs really choppy.

Any suggestions on what I may have missed?

I've updated Flash, run my virus scans twice, ran all updates (my problems were happening before I ran updates)

have you updated sound cards non-automatically? like from the site of the company that produces the speakers? If not, do so!

Did u have this problem before or it just started?
Can you send a screenshot of your Diablo3 Video Options? (try minimize all settings and see the result, then bring them back one by one)
You may try defrag your Diablo folder, maybe the files are fragmented.
