Solved deleting files with "(2)" in the title

Hi all,

Could you let me know if there's a way to delete files from a folder with a specific word in the title. I accidentally copied all files again to a folder and now have 50gb of unwanted copied files, all with (2) in the title. If there's a way of grouping all files with (2) in the title it would save me hours of tedious deleting!

Many thanks

Phil

Just type: (2) in the search box would filter all the files containing (2) in the title. From the ribbon, click on Home->Select all then hit DELETE key.

try searching for

*(2).*

and if widows labeled them with a (2) that means there was an (1) already in that directory , plus the original file
