I've got a Surface Pro 3 and the default metro apps are minimizing automatically. This happens even after restoring to a clean install (I did select the option to keep my personal files). I'm not sure what else could be causing it at this point.
System specs:
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4300U CPU @ 1.90GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Video card: Intel HD Graphics 1792 MB
I also noticed in my DxDiag file there's a bunch of errors in it, so I've attached the full dxdiag file as well
