So, I decided that if I want to consider myself to be a really good graphic designer, I need to learn how to use more than one program (Photoshop). I've decided on Gimp. Any simple to intermediate tutorials for Gimp sigs?

GIMP is good. Has it's own additions compared to Photoshop.

You should install the user manual also: GTK+ and GIMP installers for Windows - Browse /GIMP Help 2/GIMP Help 2.8.0 at SourceForge.net
(use help 2.8 for the GIMP 2.8.x)

If you've made some sigs in Photoshop, almost the same procedure applies in GIMP and you're good to go.
Usually after I made something in PS, I try it in GIMP also. That's a way of learning.

Haven't tried Gimp. But some said it works similar to PS.
