Delta45 - Neon-Green

Some guys like Hulk and the Mask would probably like a green version as well. Actually I like one too.
Green seems to be the best visible color to the human eye.

With some previous colors and black and white, I think the Delta45 theme is complete now*. :)

*Nope: Purple/Violet one is released as well:

All nice variations.
32x32 and 48x48 px in 4bit color.
Install.inf file is included in zip.

I guess this so-called 'binary' cursor-series is complete now.

Vortex Spinner Concept

A new idea for another animated cursor (a small selection from tons of shapes and forms).

The thing was already planned some time ago and the original one comes from preloaders.net.
I've just added a white border to the shape to increase contrast on different backgrounds.

So far, we start with (the source) a big enough reference:
vortex.gif
I thought it's a very suitable animation for a cursor. Others may disagree...
The white border is 2px but not visible on white.
That should do it.
Smaller size, other colors... all possibilities.

Vortex Spinner

That thing spinning was really something to the eyes! But all went well...

Here it is mentioned Vortex animation cursor.

Specs:
- RGBA color
- 32x32 size
- ANI format

Available in b-w + some colors:

black.gif blue.gif green-black.gif lblue-black.gif lblue-white.gif orange.gif red.gif white.gif yellow.gif

Some looked better than others but the white background here plays a role in that preview as well.

One of them is called Prism because it has all the colors in a loop.

prism.gif

Dark borders look bad on light backgrounds so it seems.
Also to keep in mind is that the previews are GIF's: 256 (8bit) indexed colors while the cursors are actually in 32bit color.

This file(s) require a manual installation.

That's all.
Cheers!

DMZ Neon Orange

Back to the cursors!

Previously released DMZ Neon Blue has a follow-up.

First I had in mind: Lit Charcoal, Tangerine... but I just go with Orange, for the logic. :)

Same specs as the Blue version.
32x32, 48x48, 64x64

Previews on black and white backgrounds:

Usage:
Extract the zip.
Installer (inf) included. Right click -> install.

This is so easy.... I've done more difficult things before( hard customization) .... yet, I had no clue how to manually change pointers. O.o
I need to see a doctor...

Thanks!

@Hopachi I don't care for your copyrights because I like your cursors. *evil laughter*
I like Delta45 Orange and I decided to use/change them to Delta45 Yellow in Photoshop. You're obsessed with orange, me with black and yellow.
If you don't mind, I can post them right here. :dinesh:

Copyrights...
*evil laughter 2*
Delta pointer: I'd be very glad to see other versions to that! :dinesh:

(DMZ is from Ubuntu/Linux so it has some GNU or MIT licenses but it's free to use and redistribute).

Yellow is my ally in color, red too. :)

Normally if you can open the *.cur files you can export them as images.

I began the Delta design simply in Paint and afterwards moved over in GIMP. This version has a bit more (too much) glow than the DMZ Neon but all that can be changed.

The DMZ Neon is IMO more balanced but that depends on the user's taste.

I have the sources without the glow but way easier it is to use the black/white glow-less versions I posted in this thread and make them to any color you like, yellow included.

@Hopachi

I used Photoshop( + .cur Plugin) to re-color your Delta45 cursor pack. ^ ^
I recolored every single cursor/size= 32x32 to 96x96.
Installation.inf file has been updated to reflect all changes.

I picked Dark-yellow, since I wanted it to fit gsw953onDA's Gray8 theme.

Yep, tell me if it worked for you( the installer.inf file)

Off-topic: The recolored set is made for Gray8's theme- can't use that theme and I've no clue, why. >.<
Worked fine on Windows 8. It seems Windows 8.1 has some problems with custom themes.

.... Thinking 'bout animating Delta45. I don't like static loading-cursors.

Yes. I've installed it without issues. :thumb: As usual, you get a prompt about the theme the first time you select it, there you need to click yes.

You will need to re-patch your system dll's again. If you've upgraded to 8.1 all was reinitialized to default settings.
Keep in mind that the modified theme's dll's like shell32.dll, timedate.cpl and wmplic.dll are the versions from Windows 8.0 and won't work in 8.1 (the only way would be for the theme maker to update the theme to 8.1 or if you can extract the modified resources from those dll's and manually apply them to the 8.1 ones).

That would be awesome if you can achieve that!

I've posted a while back that I can create *.ani cursors for a given size (32x32, 48x48...) but not with multiple layers at once. :o Maybe you got better programs for this... Delta45 goes up to 96x96 but it should be possible to create an *.ani file with all layers because the animated Windows cursors (aero) already contain 32x32 and 48x48 in one. :)
