Is there a way to create a shortcut that will take me into the search field of a specific folder?

Hello pync, and welcome to Eight Forums.

If you like, you could do a search in the folder and save the search. This will give you a shortcut that will search that folder for the same thing each time you open it to always have the latest search results.

If you did not want a saved specific search, then you could create a shortcut of the folder as usual to be able to use the search box as usual.
