Okay so I ran this Unigine for about 20 minutes and the MB was at about 64C, the CPU was at about 59C, and the HDD was in the high 30s. The graphics were fine. I don't know how/if it collects data?

That's fine. I usually run the Benchmark, but it isn't necessary. Seems a little warm for the Motherboard, but the CPU sounds good. I don't believe the burn in test collects data, but most importantly, it didn't crash and didn't show any artifacts.

What would you like to try next? I'll leave it up to you, you have the computer and know better how it's running.

That's because I don't know what I'm doing, and there are no instructions on the web site....if I click on benchmark, does it finish on its own? Does a window popup and show some stats? I've never run this before.

What would you like to try next? I'll leave it up to you, you have the computer and know better how it's running.

Want to try the Driver Verifier next?

That's fine. You didn't have to do the benchmark, the numbers mean little anyway. It will just work it a little harder, I think.

Ok, Driver Verifier. It works the same in all versions. Just make sure you create a restore point before doing anything. Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

Sorry for the bump in Steve :)

@Simrick - Are you still facing any Blue Screen of Deaths? If yes, then please let me know. I would suggest not running the steps on your own (Like running ESET). That could complicate the things further.

Strange, although I immediately delete desktop icons when I install stuff.

So do you have any idea what this might be?

Not a single BSOD since enabling driver verifier. I was thinking I would run the Heaven benchmark again, then take the graphics update in WU, then run the benchmark once more.
I also received the GWX this morning.

I've never seen that comment about not being able to use the Guest account - is that something that happens on the Core version? or, is there no guest account in W10 at all?

Here is the problem now: on boot, the HDD is pegged at 100% for 3 minutes. The desktop refreshes after about 1-1/2 minutes of loading. I can't figure out what's doing it. Also, if I close the lid, or walk away and the computer sleeps, when I wake it, I get a light blue screen (where the login should be), but there's nothing - just the empty screen. I waited for 3 minutes or so, constantly moving the mouse and after three minutes the login appeared.

My friend said, this is what started things, and he let it go instead of getting it to me, and eventually the BSODs began. That's when I got it.

Hi simrick,

When dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup finishes in a couple of seconds, it means that there is nothing to clean.
You can find out if it is necessary to use dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup by using the command
Code:
dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeCompontentStore
The result of running this command looks like:

What is pointed with an arrow is the answer that you need to know to find out if 'dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup' is necessary to run.

Hi @axe0 and thanks for that info. At one point way back in this thread, there was some corruption - I was making sure it was gone. But that's good to know I can check to analyze the ComponentStore in the future. I have to admit, I was wondering if it even worked, it finished so quickly.
