So, I am at my Wit's End with this issue. My gateway nv53 laptop had Windows 7 on it, and it was very slow. Took like 10 minutes just to get going. I just installed windows 8.1 on my Gateway NV53. I noticed that it was super SLOW and laggy EVEN AFTER A FRESH OS INSTALL.I removed a lot of the unnecessary services by following Black Viper's guide. Page not found » Black Viper | www.blackviper.com it was STILL SLOW.Then I realized that the computer wasn't using my GPU. So I installed the latest drivers from AMD. That improved my screen resolution and made the display clearer, but it was STILL SLOW.Then i opened task manager. Went to Processes, and I found this process called SYSTEM INTERRUPTS. It uses 40% of my cpu! I repeat 40% of cpu!I can't even disable! WTF.Why in the hell would microsoft make a process that interrupts my system and makes it slow?Is there anyway to disable SYSTEM INTERRUPTS??
