Hi All, after I login I often (it's not everytime) get a pop-up message that says
Note. This is not a screenshot of my system just the message that pops up.
I do have a USB 3.0 portable hard drive that I usually leave connected to my computer however when these messages started appearing I tried booting without the drive plugged in and still got the message.
I am running Windows 8.1 Pro and have never tried creating a Windows to Go Workspace, heck I never heard of Windows to Go before this message.
Is there anything I can do to determine why this pops up and stop it?
The only reason I can think of is the recent changes to my hardware and software, I bought some new RAM after my old set failed and because of this I reinstalled Windows before I discovered it was the RAM giving me all the BSOD's. I also recently installed a new graphics card (the Nvidia GTX 750 Ti) however I first noticed the message before I had the graphics card.
I have two hard drives in my PC a 240GB SSD with Windows on and a 1TB hard drive with my films, tv shows and music on.
Thanks for any help you guys can lend me.
UPDATE:
I have been googling around and it seems that people with the same issue (or at least a similar one) when they take out the USB that Windows is apparently booting from, Windows crashes. This does not happen to me, I can take out my portable hard drive and Windows will still run.
Other people with this similar problem cannot access the Windows Store from a Windows to Go Workspace. I can access the Store.
This suggests to me that the message is just popping up randomly especially as it is not everytime I boot. Or it thinks my permanent SSD is a portable drive which I running Windows from (however the ability to access to Store makes this less likely).
