Solved Computer Running Slowly, Games Barely Play

I honestly have no clue if I posted this in the right area, but I recently (today) found out that if I start any game on my laptop it lags on the main menu and really bad in-game. I even noticed my computer is running slower in general. I don't think it should be because I uninstalled my Display driver yesterday because I can't even change the brightness (which I also couldn't solve). I'm honestly at a loss, looking up fixes on forums, and this is my last resort to find help directly. I haven't done anything that should harm my computer, and have restarted my laptop. I can't give you my specs because I really don't know how, but I wish could give enough information to get some sort of help, sorry if I couldn't.

Without any system and computer description it's very difficult to even guess. Here, download and try this: https://pcferret.com/ to help you find out a lot of things about your machine.

Well, it's not a speed demon, for sure. What did you replace that video driver with ? Without proper GPU driver, things are bound to sloooow down.

hmm. I know it seems like the more stuff you put on the computer expecilly if its not very fast to begin with the slower it will become and also if you don't have a lot of space on the computer it will be slower.

I have a third of my memory left, my computer literally just rubbish out in less than 24 hours. I was playing Gmod and went to sleep, got on the next day and it wouldn't run very fast.

Better replace drivers, get them from MFG's site. Those MS drivers are just very basic ones and will not provide full performance.

If that's your computer, you need this driver:
Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver10.18.10.3408143.9 MBFeb 7, 2015
It's under: Driver-Graphics (2).
'Microsoft Basic Display Adapter' is just as basic driver you can get, barely enough to give some picture.

I already installed that, but, under display adapters it doesn't show up, should I restart my computer for it to show up? I really hope this works, it's been a week since I've been able to do much. :/

Always reboot after driver installation if it didn't remind you or demand reboot.

I have rebooted, and nothing changed, I looked at my devices and even started up Terraria, it continues to lag.

I have now even defragged my computer and it still has made absolutely no difference. I really don't want to have to buy a new part (I'm sure I don't even have to) or seek professional help with a mere driver/performance problem. I really don't know what the problem is, should we think outside of drivers and not keep thinking about getting better drivers?

My preference is to run task manager and resource monitor to determine which process is slowing the computer down.

I have already tried that. It isn't a process, I mean, that's a little obvious, anyway. I can restart my computer and it still lags any game I try to play. I can only play flash games now, it really is annoying. I can't figure what could possibly do this. I have done everything told to me, and nothing.
